This beautiful and unique curly ivory pelt is so pure and simple! IT is sure to add depth to your space!

MKONO Farm's bark tanned Navajo Churro sheep pelts are a beautiful addition to any room in your home. Adorn a chair, bed, wall, or floor with them! Newborn babies love them too!

Each pelt comes from MKONO FARM. MKONO FARM fleshes and salts the hides and then sends them to Driftless Tannery for the natural bark tanning process.

**CARE INSTRUCTIONS:**

1) Brush to remove dust and dirt.
If cleaning is necessary: rinse with cool water, never hot water. Spot clean with warm water and ivory soap. Pat dry with a towel or air dry and brush to fluff.
if more cleaning is needed, soak pelt for at least 30 minutes and wash with liquid ivory soap or a wool safe detergent in warm water on gentle cycle for three minutes or by hand in a tub.
3) Rinse in warm water (twice) and allow to go through the spin cycle. Air dry, then brush.
4) Lay flat to dry (DO NOT PUT INTO A TUMBLE DRYER)
5) Stretch out by hand as drying to keep softer and brush with a pet brush.
6) Regular maintenance with a wire wool or pet brush can keep fibers fluffy and looking their best!
Do not store in plastic or boxed up, only in a cool, well-ventilated place.

REMEBER THAT WOOL + MOISTURE + AGITATION = FELTING

Certain types of wool such as that from long wool or fine wool breeds will almost always felt in the washing machine. It is best to handwash those bark tanned sheepskin in a tub. When wetting the wool, be sure to brush or rub the fiber in one direction.

Do not rub back and forth or felting will occur!
